I started baking these cookies about a year and a half ago...and I think I've finally perfected the recipe!! Now for the bad part
...I don't really measure anything when I bake these, so I'm going to attempt to get the measurements right... I think they're close! Hopefully they turn out well for you! I'm excited to share these with you, I hope you all enjoy, and please let me know what you think!

2 Sticks of Butter
3/4 Cup White Sugar
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
3 Cups Flour
1 Package of Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugars. Once well mixed, add vanilla and eggs. Beat until fluffy. Add baking soda and salt and mix well. Add Flour one cup at a time. Ok...this is the part where it gets complicated. Depending on what type of cookies you like, you need to add more or less flour. If you like your cookies thin and more crispy, 2 1/2- 3 cups should be enough flour. If you like your cookies fluffy, add 3 and 1/2 or more. For fluffy cookies, the dough should not stick to your fingers whe
n you pick it up. Stir in chocolate chips. (If you want, at this point you can also add any extras- caramels, toffee bits, and peanut butter chips are my favorite!)
Spoon cookies onto cookie sheet
bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes (depending on how gooey you want them!).
Set cookies on a rack to cool, and ENJOY!
